My Walks of Life

Assalamualaikum,

Dear family & friends,

I would like to take this moment to ask for your apologee for all my wrongdoings caould it be from my words or acts. Maaf Zahir & Batin.

Our Hari Raya turn goes to Sitiawan this year. So tentatively :

• We went back to kg kuala nau on Sunday ( 2days before Raya).I mange to cook lontong for the berbuka puasa on Saturday.
• On Sunday, I cooked Rendang Daging , a recepe from mama.
• On the eid day, after bersalam-salaman, we went to the photo shop for a family album.Such a a havoc moment to keep the toddlers stay put for a second! Anyway, its consider okay lah. Recepe : Soto Ayam
• The 2nd raya, we went to Teluk Intan. Visited Atok & Opah`s graves and headed to Mimi`s house for satay feast. Then only we stop by to our house, for a Raya spirit.
• Day 3 raya, abang start working.Anyway, visitors still coming to our house. We serve Mee kari.

Well, thats for now. Plan to do Puasa 6 next week on Monday.

Another place of interest that we went is the elephant sanctuary, located at Kuala Gandah, Lanchang, Pahang. This place is rarely known by tourists.may be because of the location is quite far from the main road.take about 30 mins from the town.

well, abir and aufa really excited seeing the troops of elephants there.coz, not like in the zoo which you only can spot 1 or 2 elephants.here, the elephants are about 20!!aside of just seeing them, you are able to ride on them and feed them.provided you come at the scheduled time.

Do you aware that Malaysia has the longest canopy walk in the world??Believe it, it is located at my husband`s hometown-kulim, kedah. To be specific it is at Sg Sedim. So, whats so special about this place anyway?Well, you could touch the forest leaves ie cengal, jati, merbau etc.then, you will surely hear the forests harmony sounds, and of course the feeling of peacefulness will linger around you while you walk up along the bridge.

The canopy walk is almost 1km, ie 955m long. The scenery below it is almost enchanting where you will see the river and waterfall from top. This recreation park also provide place to stay. You can either opt for a dormintory or a single room. Food and beverages can be provided accordingly. Or, if you plan for an adventurous get away, you can just camp at the cap site.Barbeque shall be arranged as per request.

My son, Abir really enjoy the walk.He even doesnt realize that he was walking at the canopy level, untill at a point where Wady ask him to look down:) Then only he started to feel the gravity , and began walking gracefully.He couldn`t stop himself asking questions all the way the walk.

so, what a wait??pack up your stuff and get adventurous there:)

Ramadhan tahun ni dimulai dengan :-

1. travel ke Temerloh since my sister in law,kak zaity just gave birth to her 3rd son just few days before ramadhan.ameer abdullah nama diberi.mama went to Temerloh with Ju,our maid. I decided to pinjam my maid for 1 month to my sister in law.kesian dia, no helper. I don`t mind, because my thesis is still in literature phase.so, we celebrate the 1st day of fasting travelling.sempat singgah elephant sanctuary lagi:) kids really enjoyed themselves.
2. travel ke KL.the second week, 2-5th Oct, I had discussion and proposal presentation in the faculty. so, i have no other choice rather to be the driver, packed with my 2 kids and mama as my babysitter.thanks mama.its very tiring travel 4 hours during ramadhan especially when aufa insist nak breastfeed while i`m driving.mencabar betul.well, life in KL is very hectic, not to mention the traffic kills my nerves!teringat masa kat jb dulu, berapa kali pernah berbuka tengah jalan. alhamdulillah, la ni dah tak dok kat tpt busy. good news, the prof and dean accept my proposal without further deal.
3. travel ke kulim. then, the same week 7th oct, we travel to my hubby`s home in kuala nau, kulim.that is our routine event every 1st week of the month.although, everytime, we all balik, tak lama sat-sunday only.but the frequency counts.and quality time together as well.sempat la berbuka posa and sahur dengan mak ayah.mak as usual mesti masak the delicious curry.yummy!
4. this week, abang pulak kena gi offshore di bintulu 1 week.hmm, last week i tinggalkan dia kat rumah dengan abah, this week dia pulak yang tinggalkan we all kat rumah.anyway, this week i have to concerntrate on abir`s study since he`s having final exam. what made me very surprised on the 1st day, when his teacher said, Abir could copy the sentence correctly!the exam paper is designed same bith for 4 and 5 years old. so, she said, Abir did well equal to the other 5 years old children.We`ve been to busy lately sampai tak tahu he could do that. in the 1st hand, we just send him to kindergarten this year just for exposure.anyway, he is even not 4 years old yet!i`m so proud of you my son.as reward i bought him his favourite-the aircraft!what else?

so, what can i say about this ramadhan?travel spree. only that, when abang not around, leceh nak tarawih because nobody can take care the kids.well, i already miss abang now:( dah la he couldn`t call or receive call while he`s offshore:(
