My Walks of Life

the sky does not always blue..so does the life..

Mumtaz Hannani

Presenting you our new bundle of joy.Officially her name is Mumtaz Hannani yesterday. The meaning for Mumtaz is Excellent and Hannani is my beloved. been quite difficult to name her, as Abang haven`d decided the names from the 7 shortlisted names i`ve suggested him beforehand.

few minutes to the world..
fluffy cheeck..
The more is the merrier..KakCho family
Abang doing tahnik with air zam-zam & tamar
abang Abir & Kakak Aufa excited of the new baby
at home..day 5

dah ada signs of jaundice eh

Alhamdulillah, the birth was fine..with no complications, only that this time i was totally on natural birth experience.i remembered back then, i did once mentioned of it to my Gynae 2 weeks prior.this time, no i/v pitocin,no painkillers ie i/v pethidine, no nuben. i was only given endorphine gas (which didn`t made me even smile!) after the cervix had dilated to 7 cm.the contractions was unbearable..it took me almost 7 hours in the labour room. asked me about how strong i held Abangs hand all the while till delivery.

At 3.30pm, still no signs of Dr. Marsita even the cervix had reached 8cm, eventually she came just after i`d asked the Nurse conduct the delivery herself. She quickly got her apron on, kissed my forehead and recited supplications before she instructed me to take a deep breathe and push on count of 1-10 non stop.huhuhu. ask me how it felt.I didn`t realized how hard i squeezed Abang`s hand. he said, having seen the difficulties and pain i`ve suffered..he wont regret if he had a broken wrist rather than his wife unable to deliver the baby safely.Gracious to Allah! A healthy baby girl was born at 3.55pm, weight 3.21kg and 53cm height.

Recovery from baby delivery is another chalenging days to face ahead now. ..the perineum stitches was more this time as the Gynae had made a cosmetic do to the area. aside that..breastfeeding cracks , engorgement + food pantang. My grandma is taking care of us during this confinement. Mama will come again this Monday.Best!

Thanks to all of you for your prayers.Mama & abang especially. We really appreciate Ancho & KakCho for taking care of the two kids while we were at the hospital. Thanks a lot.We love you! Got to go now, as Mumtaz is squirming for milk.

Jazakillah.

in progress

Salam,

Its 530am in the morning. Couldn`t continue sleeping as contractions is escalating since 3.00am. ever wonder why those mom-to-be used to walk around during contractions? It helps.yes, it`s accelerating the delivery process. I did a 1km walk yesterday actually.not of on shopping this time. eventually, my thesis has been approved for submission to the examiners.so, after doing a final touch up at the faculty, i rush to few blocks for signature & photocopies :optometry department- dean`s office-photocopies-treasury office-postgrad office. Thanks to dear Abang, whom could came over during lunchour helping me carrying 8 copies of the thesis-a 3 kgs load.At last...i`m done.Alhamdulillah!

I`m going to wait few minutes till Subh prayer, and wake up the kids. Abang is already on the Sejadah since 5.00am. Time to go to the hospital then.Big time.Baby delivery is in progress. Please pray for me and the baby. Syukran & Jazakumullah..

Fi amanillah.

Hooked

My mind is hooked on this one lately. Nope! not on the missing maid. no grieve at all. she`s a history to be learnt for.

The fact is, my sleep is being violated by thoughts of when will my supervisors satisfy and say "you may submit the thesis to post-grad office. no more ammendments". it is just around the corner. i`m counting the dateline to submit the thesis as i am counting my baby delivery date, you see?
last night at 2.30am , i received 3 SMS from her.asked me to see her today for another new ammendments.so distractful though. i could hardly sleep since.huuuuhhhuu...another new corrections?she should requested for those ammendments, when i submitted the chapters 5 months ago, not now.i hated last minute work, particularly in this expecting for baby delivery which will be popping soon.this is very critical time for me. i told abang this morning, to help me do the corrections, if it happened that i `ll be in labour.:)
like it or not..i`m going to see her today after my gynae check-up.
a stressful morning indeed...

Allah, the Exalted, says:"O you who believe! Endure and be more patient..". (3:200)
"And certainly, We shall test you with something of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruits, but give glad tidings to As-Sabirun (the patient)". (2:155)
"Only those who are patient shall receive their reward in full, without reckoning.'' (39:10)
"And verily, whosoever shows patience and forgives, that would truly be from the things recommended by Allah.'' (42:43)
"Seek help in patience and As-Salat (the prayer). Truly, Allah is with As-Sabirun (the patient).'' (2:153)
"And surely, We shall try you till We test those who strive hard (for the Cause of Allah) and As-Sabirun (the patient)'' (47:31)

O Allah, bestow me patience and sustenance.
Amiiin Ya Rabb.!

Stories

Assalamualaikum,
Life is truly colorful these days...

Here are the photos of my already wed beloved sister`s wedding reception at Sitiawan, Perak. Last week, we went to Felda Ulu Belitong, for the reception at Zuhaidi`s house. The theme was pink back then.We left our camera at home, so..no photos captured by us. Anyway, the trip back from Kluang was amazingly fantastic as we transit a day at Melaka, thanks to Chik Ida & family whom generously treat us. Merasa akhirnya tido di rumah agam mereka yang tersergam indah. Despite strended in the traffic in the town, we managed to join the Zoo Melaka tour & stop by at Perigi Hang Tuah. Only belacan shopping done mostly. Hehe.

those days were colorful as the rainbow. Not long, it turned out to be dark & gloomy 3 days after eid adha.OUR MAID RAN AWAY! She just left, with a note stating she`s heading back home to Acheh. An ironic reason? yet, we believe somehow that she actually just wanted to be free as a bird would be and start a new job. She went to see her relatives on Eid prior. That Thursday morning, i notice she was not in sight as usual, thought she was asleep in her room.. maybe not feeling well. so, i didn`t bother to wake her up. It was already 9am when my SIL called up to send Qaisarah & kids over. . which then only i knocked her door and called her name. after a while, silence remain. I soon opened the door and only came to realized that she was not there since abang left for Subuh prayer. Police & immigration report done quickly. Full stop.
what else can i say?
Life goes on..

A week off

no, no..the baby is yet to deliver, although i wish i am.the backpain is excruciating painful.

the true is..i was back to my hometown for my sister`s wedding preparation. alhamdulillah, the wedding went well. wedding of the year for all of us!we didn`t capture any photos, too busy i suppose.plus abang said.."there were already too many SLR cameraman of our uncles & cousins that day "kalah kamera photograper yang diupah!.so..i will upload those pictures here, once got the CD eh.

our boy (part 2)

The Raudhah Adni Performance & Award Day , themed as the CHRYSALIS has eventually turned out to be a "tears-all-the-way" show for Abir instead. He was on the Choral Speaking team on FRIENDS. he been so excited, started the day with a dazzling smile... perhaps, too much warming-up at the back of the stage. once his team got onto the stage, we noticed he kept on wiping off his left eye, non-stop.

before the event..cheerful like a rabbit!

Our maid said "abir selsema kot". I knew he wasn`t. "tak..dia menangis tu...jatuh agaknye."i reckoned. despite the rubbing eyes and tearing..he still did the coral speaking:) soo, once they get off the stage..i rushed to him for details.."umar rushdi cucuk mata abir" still tearful. "oooh..patutlah menangis, bagi ummi tgk mata" quickly i looked for any cornea lacerations.Alhamdulillah so glad..,none.

Graduating from Adni`s kindergarten, with the award :Super Speller & Best in BM. You are our STAR, dear.

Yesterday was the combo birthday celebration..with Ali. As the sun was smiling to everyone since morning, we held the party at the pool side. Our home-made meals served were: fried meehoon, walnut brownies cake, choc muffin, nuggets, fries, fried drummet, sandwiches, jelly & papayas cut. Kak Cho cooked a delicious macaroni with specialty sauces!

the main activities...swimming overule the birthday events, seemingly..

our boy

This entry is especially dedicated to our eldest... Muhd Abir Islami

You somehow modestly puzzled us with your temperament. An amateur mom as I still be, I would always ask myself “is that okay on what is he is up to?” Many remarks have been passed these years towards you, which few were definitely I can recap...

Wan Norainy : besorkan dia elok-elok..., cerdik budaknye.confident. dah besor esok dapat ke idak mama tgk dia jadi apa, kawin dgn sape. Doa le kami panjang umur, dilimpahkan kesihatan.
Atok Hussin : kena tengok-tengok budak tu..ada-ada aje akal nye.
Mrs. Jeba (former kindergarten teacher): a boy whom I cannot keep eyes off even a second. His brain seems never comprehend the word relax, I suppose. Make sure he finds good friends. Easily influenced.
Ms Cass (former Kumon instructor): he has potential to move further, just give him time to explore his capabilities. Don’t be too hard on him, as he would refrain and shield a barrier around him to improve.
Teacher Hanifa (present kindergarten teacher) : few time, while I was teaching, I captured him missing at his seat, which soon realize that he was under the table playing hot wheel cars. I yell his name and shoot him with a question. With a big grin, he just simply answer it correctly. Hish, budak ni ada peneman ke? I was wondering. Anyway, though he enrolled later than others, yet he is catching-up quickly.
Teacher Raihan (day care teacher) : Abir ni lain sangat dari cousin dia. Dengan saya je dia tak berani.
Pn. Nora (present Kumon instructor): He is progressing well, just caution on his mood. Kalau datang angin termenung tu…sampai 1 jam pun belum siap. Banyak sangat fikir nye.
Houris : Dia ni suka buat kelakar aje. Orang lain tak ketawa tengok cartoon, dia sorang yang ketawa sangat.heran kakak!
Aufa : abang ni buat kumon lambat kan. Tapi Aufa suka abang lah.

In short, we deem you as a mischievous & cheerful boy whom is naturally smart, imaginative, and vigorous, yet tend to be inattentive and hasty. (ehm..very loud too, cakap tu perlahan sikit suaranya, Abir)

Anyway, dear, what does matters most to us that you are our son. It is more than enough to make our life full of contentment and delightful all these years. We are proud of you.

Happy 6th Birthday today our love!

Hey, not to forget, Happy 66th Birthday to Abah too, its today also. Cucu Atok le, sama date! Semoga Abah dikurniakan kesihatan agar dapat melipatgandakan amal & ibadah dan diberikan kemudahan di dalam semua urusan.Amiiin.
Not planning to celebrate Abir`s birthday today, plan to combo with Ali`s this Sunday. Anyway, we bought him a pair of Roborovski hamsters for his birthday in advance last week (plus as a reward since he improves his ranking in the final exam). Too good for a such a boy! very unexpected..his teacher quoted on the report card day.

had to stop at Abi`s office first..level 16, menara GE"cepat Abi, nanti pet shop tutup"

at Pet wonderland, Menara GE : uncle, saya nak yang ini la.comel sangat! ada tak 1 boy and 1 girl utk adik saya?

there you are.., first day at home..dah 10 kali kena picit dgn bebudak ni:) Ya Allah, moga panjanglah umur hamsters ni.

Qurban & Aqiqah

Salam,
JIM`s annual programme of Qurban & Aqiqah has just commenced. Those whom interested to have qurban & aqiqah elsewhere out of our country, are much welcome to contact the organising team.

Hazrat Abu Hurairah reports that the Apostle of Allah has said : "Whoever has the capacity to sacrifice (qurban) and does not do so, should not come to the place where the Eid prayer is offered." (Ibn Majah).

Hence we should understand the importance of qurban, in which each and every Muslim whom is obliged should offer it. This will not only create an atmosphere of ‘Eid’ and ‘Qurbani’ in the community but will also serve as a lesson for generations to come. Insya Allah.

Syukran Jazilan.

Points to ponder

The other evening was my weekly usrah gathering...

A friend emailed me, asking details on what is usrah all about. i`ve also met few friends who even asked "eh, ikut usrah lagi?"well...

my usrah episode started years ago back in 1990`s where i was in SMKASAS. yes, which it was a compulsary for everyone in the school. that time, i took it as a matter of only attending a class.mandatory.most of the time, the naqibah (one who leads the usrah) would do the talking, and us..do the listening & nodding:). the theme was basically on fardhu ain stuff. when we were in form 3, few gals managed to escape from the sessions..yet, i was still there sitting in a circle everyweek, listening & nodding:).i was on the usrah boat for 3 years then.

not long, my usrah phase was halted once i moved to SERATAS, prolonged further when i got to matriculation.it took about 3 years break altogether.that time , i noticed how i missed the usrah thing. i`ve tried to compensate those emptiness with self-reading on tazkirah books.., yet it just didn`t fill the real aura of usrah offers.hey, anyway i own no choice back there. years past, came my glory years in UKM (1998-2000). it was awesome. i took 2 usrah group offers at once! so, i had 2 sessions of usrah per week. really enjoy them both.each of them had their unique approach. less nodding & listening.progress to sharing, asking & discussing mode. since then, i am still allocating my time for it.graduated-work-married-children. so glad that my the other half is also on the same boat since in UTM.. it has been 10 years now and counting.

well..it is a sense of belonging to the community everywhere we go. having someone and a group who really cares for you, for the sake of Allah. whom having the alike views on life, whom sees life more than only as it is. basically the usrah tentative are flows like this :

1) tilawah & tasmi` the Quran (pick 1 ayat to discuss) - 15 mins
2) tazkirah (any topic, assigned by the naqibah prior) - 10 mins
3) topic : hadith, tauhid, seerah, tafsir, akhlak (rotated) - 45 mins
4) hafazan surah/hadith & tasmi`- 20 mins
5) current issue discussion - 15 mins
6) mutaba`ah amal (self-reflection- ibadah checklist)-10 mins
7) sharing : family, friends, work, neighbours etc - 20 mins

i was touched with our tazkirah topic this week on keeping the momentum of ibadah in Ramadhan running. on how well we could keep ourselves to the tilawah, sedeqah, qiamullail, wakes up early for Subh etc., yet how well are we to keep it on during the rest of the month?it is a matter of whether we take the blessed Ramadhan for granted or appreciating it and feeling the effects its one month intensive ibadah training, for the rest of the months to come?

later, we shared on investment of RM (which we can monitor) versus investment of akhirat (which we can`t see?). my naqibah reminds us to be careful in bulking a whole lot of what we earn every month for RM investment. instead, put aside a portion for the needy, especially unfortunate ones, the orphanage. not that, islam discourage of being wealth.must note that, what is the intention of being wealth?is it that when we have 1 million, then our aim is to build a shelter home or mosque or orphan home? or just for the sake of our later life, which we don`t know until how old will we still alive and be healthy?sometimes, she said..we seems to forget that the life is not eternal. so, the rule of thumb is : save some for your unfortunate days, and some are best allocate to your children, family and others. (as like the hadith quotes).

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Every Muslim has to give in charity." The people then asked: "(But what) if someone has nothing to give, what should he do?" The Prophet replied: "He should work with his hands and benefit himself and also give in charity (from what he earns)." The people further asked: "If he cannot find even that?" He replied: "He should help the needy who appeal for help." Then the people asked: "If he cannot do (even) that?" The Prophet said finally: "Then he should perform good deeds and keep away from evil deeds, and that will be regarded as charitable deeds." - Sahih Al-Bukhari, Volume 2, Hadith 524

finally, on this week also.. we discuss on tafsir of surah Al-Infithor (surah 82, 1-19)

The theme of this Surah is the Hereafter. After describing the Day of Resurrection it is pointed out that every person will see whatever he has done in this world. Then man is asked to ponder upon the question as to what has deluded him into thinking that Allah ( God), Who brought him into being and by Whose favor and bounty he possesses the finest body, limbs and features among all creatures, is only bountiful and not just? His being bountiful and generous does not mean that man should become fearless of His justice. Then, man is warned that he should not remain involved in any misunderstanding because his complete record is being prepared. Each person is assigned two angels who are the trustworthy writers, they are writing down whatever he is doing.

In conclusion, it is stated that the Day of Resurrection will surely take place and on that Day the righteous shall enjoy every kind of bliss in paradise and the wicked shall be punished in hell. On that Day no one shall avail anyone anything. All powers of judgement shall be with Allah.

......a piece of take-home message for all of us. Wallahu a`lam.

Time-off :on week 30

yesterday, i was in the middle of hooking myself with the tesis layout and bibliography since few days, only to realize it was already past 2.30pm, in which only i realize the stomach growling.so quickly got zuhr done and had a plate of kueteow ladna and ice lemon tea-sharp at 3pm. rush back to the carel room, i got this weekly pregnancy reminder email.Masha Allah! i am already hit week 30 on tuesday maa.this is what it says :

Welcome to Week 30!

At this point you may find it hard to believe you still have 10 more weeks to go. Wonder not! There is still room to grow in terms of your size - the fetus, placenta, uterus and amniotic fluid are going to increase in size and volume. (haa..what?i feel there`s no space left in here..i only gain 8kg so far..the least i had compared previous pregnancies.OBGyn said..eat more, eat more, but i couldn`t eat lot at one sit-blame my fat-tissue in there?.and couldn`t eat many many times too-blame the tesis?)

What is going on with your baby during week 30?

Your baby's eyelids are now open; its eyelashes and eyebrows are visible as well. It weighs about 3 lb or 1.4kg; crown to rump length is 27cm (10¾ inch) and total length is about 17 inches (38cm) long, two-thirds its final size. The fetus's level of infection fighting antibodies now is equivalent to yours. Outside the womb with great deal of effort and intensive care, baby will be able to survive but not without complications. The good news is that about 85% of babies born around now survive and its chances increases rapidly so that at 35 weeks it is more than likely to do fine outside the womb.(i wish to deliver around 36-37 weeks..tak larat nak tunggu le dah)

What is going on with You?

You are starting producing colostrum - the sweet, yellowish, nutrient and antibody rich fluid which is your baby's first food. It plays a vital role in providing your baby nourishment while your body prepares to switch into breast milk production mode. Colostrum production stops after 3-5 days after your baby is born and is replaced with breast milk. (Subhanallah!target to accomplish breastfeed formula-free for 2 years ...same like Aufa.ehem, eyeing for new pump :medela swing?) If you are beginning to feel tired or listless, it might be worth cutting back your work hours or stopping work altogether sooner rather than later. Discuss these options with your partner, doctor and your employer. (i`ve done the tesis writing last week, now merely in touch-up phase, text-proofing & kiv for corrections in 1 week time.no more clinic session and locum.told my research supervisor that i would start being off-campus by nov 2nd.)

What is going on with your Head?

It is not unusual to have a sudden burst of energy during the final trimester; many women start to clean up or do up baby's room.(true..true..last night i decorated Abir`s room, done few nailing on the wall..hanging his art-crafts & few photos. don`t have extra room for baby la..co-sleep is syiook and best options for breasfeeding, right?) . This is referred to as the 'nesting' instinct and the plus side is you feel better about your surroundings and have more time to spend with your baby once it arrives. On the downside, you end up tiring yourself.(hmm..yup!i have bad back-ache now!) You are going to need all the energy once your labor starts so if cleaning or decorating is necessary, enlist help of others. (sure...Ju is a great helper, thinking to ask her help with the curtain thing).

ok, raya story again! last week i met Azima whom i eventually yet seen since 7 years ago. Haha, this germanish lady..still speaks Perak so well! i assumed she would slipped her tongue with german and perak, instead..she still good:) we had lunch and visited Eda in Damansara Damai, whom was on 20 days MC. lots of old-stories revealed then, laughs.. laughs.Eda had to note us many times.."jgn buat kelakar..nak terburai bekas operate dia " :) Get well soon Eda. and, for the weekend, we went back to Sitiawan..on one mission actually. anyway, end up with JIM open house and also few relatives house.

had to share this too..the prenatal heart listener.it was quite weird at first..difficult to distinguish between the background noise with the fetus+womb noise.at last...after many many attempts..it is only crystal clear. the fetal heart beat sounded like a galloping horse, the fetus movements sound like a tap on the keyboard:) by the way, rimas pulak when the two kids pantang nampak the thing-asyik nak buat experiment kat ummi dia.haha.

Esok..kena sambung posa sunat 6 !Jom...

Post-Eid Report

Alhamdulillah..

Celebrating first eid at own`s hometown had never been so plain. can feel the aura of eid in the air few days prior. on the other hand, it is far difference when celebrating it at parent in law`s. not to make sensitive remarks, but it is just not as happening as having it in own family. (ps : Abang, no offence, ok?) for comparison, let me put it this way. our tradition of celebrating eid starts with solat maghrib berjemaah at home or at the mosque after iftar. it surely leads by Angah, after solat it is followed by eid takbir. that is the pre-syahdu of eid!!feeling missing of the Ramadhan, of which mama always said then "entahlah kita dpt tak jumpa Ramadhan satu lagi.moga dipanjangkan umur..diberi kesihatan.." it did really thunder the heart:(

at some times, the mosque jamaah will come to our house for takbir and doa. only after isya`, mama started asking us to do this and that..in which Farah will usually cater the biscuits arranging, glasses, table, curtains etc., whilst i would usually at the kitchen helping with rendang, ketupat, baking cake etc. having maid is a blessing as well, aside from taking care of the kids..she would station at the baju raya ironing and cleaning. the guys? they would definitely treat the kids with bunga api and firecrackers show!

morning of eid, started early with mama knocking our door, reminded on don`t forget to niat mandi Sunat Eid, later the guys went to mosque for Subuh and we prepare the breakfast. we used to combo eid-delicacies ie ketupat, lemang, peanut sauce and rendang with another dishes such as nasi lemak special or fried mee. once the guys, were already home..we have our breakfast together at the big table.the radio will always set to takbir by then all the while.soon, the house would be so hectic once the kids woke-up and starts running, yelling, giggling.later, we put on our baju raya and all of us were already set to the mosque again for eid-prayer around 8.30am and only got home around 10am.

the peak of the eid was when everyone got together at the living-hall, ready for salam bermaafan and duit raya session:) hee, not to forget-it is more like photography session for the family too!!sometimes, mama cries..:( next agenda would be the graveyard in Kampung Baru where arwah atok, wan & mak itam`s were. we settled there with yasin, doa and clearing the area. but this year, as proposed by Chik & Chu..we visit the grave a day before eid. then only, we went to wan`s house where all the aunts, uncles and cousins were together.again..the salam, duit raya & photography took place there. finally.., although exhausted enough..especially the kids, we would definitely convoi to Kampung Teluk till late evening.

the routine of celebrating eid in Sitiawan...where i say its 70% different from having it in Kuala Nau.anyway, no fuss..whether Sitiawan or K Nau, as long as we are in a family. this year we headed to K Nau on 2nd eid, after had a BBQ lunch (various fresh fish & goat`s curry) at my parents house.the next day, we convoi to tok bah`s house and later visit our friends in Kulim.not much events though..

couldn`t say more..than syukur alhamdulillah. enjoy the pictures collections..

1/4 of the total grandchildren..:)
the blue team..:)
salam & collecting duit raya..
cheese everyone?
merpati 2 sejoli..., we flashed oranged on 2nd eid (coincidence with ancho`s team)
after BBQ lunch on 2nd eid..

at Wa`s house - Abir candid with Tok Bah, 3rd eid at Alor Setar.

smile..the cousins in K Nau

there you are!

Eid Fitr!

It is just around the corner!
We`re heading back to Sitiawan tomorrow morning, Insya Allah. Anyway, everything haven`t packed all yet, the cookies and the baju raya especially. we`re going to flash on blue-green out fit on the 1st eid and the second eid will be on orange theme:). my princess is very lucky this year since I shopped 7 pairs of new outfit for her versus abir`s whom got merely 4 pairs. (not being berat sebelah, ok? but the girls`s fashion is so tempted!) huhu...the locum`s pay i received is totally spent on the kids outfit.yoohoo!
So, the next plan is to head to Kulim on 2 nd day eid. Insya Allah. and surely the itenary would be visiting tok bah in Alor Setar. Waah...can`t wait to eat her delicious `ketupat palas`..creamy!
We would love to wish all of you "Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri" and Maaf Zahir Batin. Have a nice and safe journey:)

the Week update

Ramadhan were pretty challenging this week, it was sizzling hot. i noticed that the car odometer displayed 39.9`c on wednesday afternoon.masya Allah!..same temperature in mecca likely. i was suffering from flu and mouth ulcers, precipitating.flu could leads to extra loss of fluid and this mouth ulcers..aaahh..it really bite particularly on dry lips.like i say, very very challenging.

angah and family were here on nuzul Quran holiday.had delicious iftar with ancho`s team too.we did spent the afternoon on buddies chatting as usual. angah informed that he just applied for SLAB scholarship with UPSI. Hope he manage to get the offer...shall means their family will be flying to australia next february :)

yesterday, despite of the hot weather.. and abir was still on his training for fasting.., we couldn`t broke our promise to bring the kids to the TUDM museum in Sg. Besi. Was not really appropriate for a fasting trainee surely..as Abir ran all the way from one aircraft to the other, jumping, hopping like a rabbit. at the end, at lunch time..he asked for rice, ribena etc once we reached home.

however, we ushered him to his cousin`s house downstairs. that would hindered his mind off from food definitely. he came back around 5pm, when our house aura were smelled with freshly-baked raya cookies. again, this triggered him. after few attempts of stealing the cookies..DH tug him to bed finally. pity boy! anyhow, we have to woke him up at 6pm as we were going for iftar at my aunt`s house. he couldn`t woke up, really looked bad right then, (the battery was totally ran-out, i guess) he soon started to cry and begging for water and cookie. pity enough DH finally permitted him:) so, there he goes..fasting up to 6.15pm.

smile you two :!

exploring the air-craft ..landing on the hot field.

this one is really old..

oooh..about the cookies.., my wishlist this year is to bake 6 typess of them (cornflakes blueberry, italian biscotti, swiss croquettes, almond pop choclate, strawbery lovely & oat cappucino), 2 cheesecakes (Choc cheesecake & blueberry cheesecake) and 1 choc moist cake. yesterday i baked the cornflakes blueberry and today is swiss croquettes.it is flavoured with chunks of cherries, almond slices and lemon peel :)

swiss croquettes..on baking

done..!

the choc cheese cake that in- the-bake- list (this one i baked last 2 weeks)

Huhu..tempted?
