My Walks of Life

the sky does not always blue..so does the life..

In the womb

It has never been that long of waiting. previous antenatal check-up lasted about only 1 hour of waiting the most. but today..it took us 3 hours! after 2 hours of waiting, then came the nurse informed us that the Doctor had to attend to an emergency case since 9am. sigh..alright, ..by the way, its already lunch time.so..we indulged ourselves for a plate of nasi kandar at the cafe.

an hour passed, we headed back to the O&G waiting alley..where the nurse called my name. Everything are fine except my blood pressure is still on the lower side ie 80/50 (typical me). not a major concern anyway.the heartbreaking moments that afternoon was this :- the Doctor said, she just got this new 4D ultrasound machine on-loan by the supplier, so i shall have a free 4D ultrasound then. No regrets of long waiting. worth it, able to view the fetus moving his/her fingers, twitching the nose, yawning and even smiling...both of us were overwhelmed, plus got 4 image printed for keepsakes.., felt very amusing till now. Subhanallah.

hmm..looks like there is Abir`s nose in there. hey, but couldnt peek the genital part as the fetus was crossing the legs tight. look..the cord is tangling back at the neck down to the chest.

was very excited to upload that 4D image, might as well upload the ultrasound image which we got last month.remember i told you that the fetus was sucking his/her thumb?

See you dear in another 4 weeks..!hope no more of long waiting hours.

Alhamdulillah..

Ihya` Ramadhan lil Mubarak!Ramadhanul Kariiem.

Astaghfirullahal aziim!! I always wanted to post this since early august. but keep on forgetting until the next usrah came. so, as one of the members of JIM, i present you this free commercial " RAYUAN RAMADHAN" Ramadhan is just around the corner, mind you. Dear ikhwah & akhawat..my muslim brothers and sisters, your contribution are most welcome. We accept any currency especially those German Euro!!ehem.
Lately, DH always commented this blog as `a very very woman stuff'. packed with family and kids`s story mostly, if you notice.:P " Life isn`t all about the family and kids....you should include any important events around the country or even world."he suggesting.

very well..

not that i`m heartless to comment on the other part of life ie economics, islam (particularly our JIM`s news and our weekly usrah`s discussion), politics, society etc, the truth is..i do care. really! only that.., i think but somewhere and somehow..i`m afraid if i poke any bee`s hive here accidentally. plus, my opinion on certain issues might be very shallow, perhaps not to the extend of the knowledge of DH. so, i opt to reserve my says. Finally, to be fair and REAL (the terms DH noted), i invited DH to co- author with me. he shall balance the lacking ideas then.

so ladies, lets wait when the MAN writes :)

Cheeky

salam,

just got back from KLIA...my cousin Hidayah was on the mission of pursuing Masters in Cognitive psychology in Wisconsin University (..if i`m not mistaken). everybody in our family were there, mostly. witnessing the kesyahduan moments."Waa..bestnye. Nak kena siap cepat thesis ni., so that after a year back to work, i could apply for PhD pulak, New Zealand came in the picture.." i told myself..

mama & abah already left for Teluk Intan at 4pm. since no mood on continuing the unfinished assignment,.. i spent the afternoon chatting with SIL on many stuffs while `melayani` the kids. aufa is soo happy, as she got a new You & Me doll from SIL. sibuk ke sana sini menggelek doll baru:) abir, eventhough still lying down most of the time, with limited movements..he enjoys the new jet transformers , a gift from SIL too.

one day, it came to my attention that my kids love this video among others. they surely asked me to get it play repeatedly, and later cheekily laughing together.hmm.. what do you think?is it so funny..??peliknye... alaaa kids...:P

like been bitten by shark!

That was what Abir`s said, when we got in the car after the khatan was uneventfully done at the clinic. We reached there sharp at 8pm, together with his supporters : Ali & Aufa. Another boy was already waiting with his parent at side. a while then, the boy went inside the treatment room escorted by his dad only, when the nurse called him. Abir seems don`t care much on what he shall facing.., playing as usual with the 2 chairperons. hop here and there, luckily got twice of my ouchy pinch on his arm but with no signs to sit still. Huuu..No adrenaline escalated, i would say.
Few minutes past when the treatment room`s door was abrubtly opened, signalling the boy`s mom to get inside. i thought, "wow that was fast.., it`s my boy`s turn". i waved Abang who was reading to get the kids.. suddenly in seconds, through the opened door i saw someone fainted, he just fell and hit the doctors surgical tray, with a loud `BANG` on the floor. "hah..pengsan la pulak budak td" i told abang. hmm..had to wait extra then. only that noise did attracted the busy Abir and really made him very anxiety then..a few minutes passed, the dad came out..pale & confuse, walking helplessly for a sit far in a corner." hey..that was the someone i saw fainted.it was the boy`s dad lah!!" i whispered to Abang. and we just grin..

okay..then came Abir`s big time.

he was okay at the starting, reciting fatihah. a bit worrying..

later, when he saw the doctor held the syringe up straight, he just freak-out!there goes his LOUD yell upon the syringe bit 3 spots:) the yelling went on till the anaesthetic works. that point onwards..he was back on his track. chatting, reciting surah and zikr.

it went fine., alhamdulillah. at home, we both were expecting the `yelling` again once will the anaesthetic washed-off while listening my bro and SIL who were sharing their experience of taking care of Ali & Umar back then.not long the yelling started..:) BIG TIME.

this morning, Abir was feeling better, though last night he couldn`t sleep well (sure both of us too).so, i had to cancel discussion with my supervisor. she gave a new assignment anyway over the phone. :)

Yepp at night

Whenever Abir has to give-up to Aufa in a situation , we use to comfort him by saying " takpe, aufa kan kanak-kanak, dia kan tak pegi school.dia tak pandai share." though he let it go, he passed by with a straight 3-9 o`clock lips. not satisfying, perhaps. one day maybe of too tired with the exciuses, he implies us this idea " ummi, kat adni ada kanak-kanak mcm aufa pg prep...., masuklah dia prep.baru dia pandai mcm abir" so, later lil Aufa has already nagging us to send her to PREP in Adni school. "aufa nak gi yepp (prep), nak gi yepp lis (please)..." begging whenever we came back late afternoon everyday. "aufa 4 years old la, br boleh pegi prep. prep dgn ummi aje ,ok? "the answer goes that caught me back instantly. at one time, she would reach for her papers and color pencils, the other time -water color and brush, but most of the time..she gets the art & craft book.

huhu..imagine yourself was already got a tight full day at the campus/office, yearning for an early bedtime..yet have to entertain 2 kiddies in jammies for a 1-2hours YEP session at home..at night?

Anyway, get them ready with the items :
  1. blunt-tip scissors
  2. art craft books
  3. glue
  4. ribbon
  5. plastic bag (for cleaning)

and, you get them promise that they would do the clean-up together at the end of the session, or they would be penalised - no more YEP tomorrow. plus, they should get to bed when done. No cartoons. Get the rules work.., if they really disobey.

1st student :ready for Yep session or posing?

2nd student : forcing himself joining the Yep though already had a tiring activities at school

1st craft : Ninja

2nd craft : spinning rocket

3rd craft : alien ?

4th : bobble-head doggie

finally..the most creative craft output : THE MESS!

very well..there you go..start clean-up you two!

..............

since this entry has lots to say (thought so..), i don`t know where to start la. the fact is i`m not into writing these days..MUAK .thats the exact term for it.being so fed up with writing article non-stop, assignments etc. (alhamdulillah all done.. corrections pending la kan from my supervisor soon) .so this week, i chose to be in reading mode most of the time. reading blogs, lazy-eye journals, parenting stuff etc. worst thing pop-up : my notebook plus the streamyx went hay-wire simultaneosly. i was eyeing those elegant notebook last week during PCfair, and got hunch on getting a new one. and 2 days later, the notebook just wont start.Great!PCfair was over and abang gave the option that i would send it to repair first and then decide.Woww. so the other day, i kept on asking the technician
..."ada harapan utk repair tak ni?" and that chinese guy said"tak tentu..tengok rosak byk ke sikit.rosak byk...beli baru lagi baik!" So, i was like "Waaaaah..beli baru :)"
so, not much hope to get it repaired la kan.ahaks. back at home, i was flipping those bunch of pamplets got from the Pcfair.so much to choose., no too long. until this morning, the guy rang
"akak punya notebook sudah okay.motherboard chip rosak plus adapter.boleh dtg amik."
i took that with clueless. (berkecai la hope nak dpt notebook baru). "selamat duit aku" abang remarked.
end of the story.
the other week, balik kampung trip was very satisfying. best thing, 4d3n includes 2 times at Sitiawan itself ie my hometown. the route was KL-Sitiawan-Kulim-Sitiawan-KL.Hehehe. best, got ngidam food for sure.and created another list now.eat lots of dokong + rambutan + mangosteen. and we went for our maid`s grandpa quest to search his relatives in kota sarang semut...but to no prevail. anyway, our kids are doing good. all is normal as it is. fighting, shouting and tantrum also.
*got to go...the librarian just alarming..time off in 5 mins. (hish...nak pegi amik notebook la ni jugak, ok) bye.
