My Walks of Life

the sky does not always blue..so does the life..

It is not so good

At 9th week, we went for my regular ultrasound appointment. I had some blood spots the other day. Eventually upon scanning the area, Dr. Ding said " it is not so good there..i`m sorry.let us wait another week and be sure" Well, i just gasped and just nod my head. Soon that night, there was a gush of blood and I started having this cramping pain around my back & abdomen. I knew then, the pregnancy is not successful.

It is a misfortune as it seems to be, but we`re fine. Better yet, I`m okay with the miscarriage. I manage to be allowed home for a conventional aborting process, to escape from D&C which I fear most. After a week, it has completely aborted. Alhamdulillah. Poor Aufa, she asked me yesterday " aby ummi ayah tan? "that is baby ummi darah kan?

When I looked back, I recall that I had serial event of falls and frequent travelling during the 1st 4 weeks. Ironically, there was a bit bad instinct about it since I had no nausea or vomitting at all just like previous. I knew there was something wrong.

Although we really really wanted another child , we accept the fate. Allah KNOWS best!

Time to say good bye!

I `m already in my final semester, meaning that I have to be around the campus as frequent 3 times per week. Actually, I `d already postponed to move since last semester, but anyway I promised my supervisor that I`ll move to KL once my hubby got new job. Walla!! Ahamdulliah, he got the offer and soon we`re moving to KL this February.

I remember that since I`ve got maried, we`ve never stay in one place for more than 3 years. Let me recall them..

March 2002 - Sept 2004 :
Taman Megah Ria + Tmn Universiti + Tmn Puteri Wangsa, JB

Sept 2004 - August 2006 :
Taman Intan Mas + Taman Cicely (we stay in our bought house only for 2 months, which then I was promoted to Hosp Queeen, KK...eventually got this masters offer and choose Hosp Seri Manjung to do the clinical part)

August 2006 - January 2008 :
Pasir Panjang Laut (my parent house)

Now, why is it so difficult for us to stay longer in one place? I shall blame the nature of my career eh? Heehee. To be promoted, we have to be transferred to another hospital. Its tiring..to be always relocated, but hey there`s no easy life in this world, I just wanted to pursue my goal so that I`ll be ready to establish my own optometry practice one day.Insya Allah.

2007 Closing- Singapore

Alhamdulillah, at last I got my wish comes true - having another stamp on my passport aside from the present one and only stamp got during umrah in 2003. It is Singapore. The plan was made at a very last minute, our initial plan was only to JB, visiting Chu (and my aunt`s family) who have safely back home from Hajj. But, after some complains about my passport which remains dormant since 2003 and will expired this coming July, so Abang decided a short trip to Sentosa Island, Singapore.

My comment about ourt trip to Singapore :
1) a clean country, discipline drivers, caring people
2) you can`t tell between a Malay and Chinese (they dress similar!) Couldn`t distinguish a Muslims too.., since few are wearing tudung. I could spot only 4 women with tudung including us.
3) lack of facilities for muslim prayer (we had to pray at the corner at the back of the foodcourt and also at descreet places at the beach)
4) ambiguous on the food halal ness (they are weird to the word halal when abang asked wether the food are halal..!) So, we opted for briyani restaurant which we assume they are paki-muslim as they wear kopiah and greet salam.
5) the MRT is so fast that speed 120km/h...faster than our ERL, I suppose.
6) A `waterless` washroom, which I fear most.
7) The history of Singapore at the `image of Singapore` seems forgetting the connection with Malaysia, and how the independence is achieved. They starts the history with Stamford Raffles.

My suggestion if you want to go to Singapore :
bring your own food, pack lots of plain water in bottle for ablution & washing, and double your budget, of course 1SD= RM2.25)

Anyway, personally I think the cost of the trip is quite affordable. We only carry SD250 and it worth a lot compared if you bring RM250 to Genting Highland or Bukit Tinggi. We went to most of the amazing sites in the island like the Merlion, amazing Singapore and especially to the kids interest like the Dolphin lagoon and the underwaterworld. The hop in bus and train around the island is free and half of the amusement park is also free.

Here are some snapshots on the island :

riding the roofless bus around the island -a hop in bus for free

waiting the dolphin show at the dolphin lagoon...a bored face from the kids

sitting next to the fisherman-the Malay is called the `orang laut` of Singapore in the early days..

This is the merlion- a legend

Malay culture with wayang kulit at the back

touching the dolphin is worth SD15.00 free photograph

amazing dolphin which can play catch

this is my aunt, and family with the youngest haji najwan, 7 years old.
