Happy Birthday to Mama today ,my dear mom in the universe:) You are a wonder to me! We made a small celebration at Sea Food Restaurant in Teluk Batik. The menu were tomyam, grilled scrapper fish, vegi soup,toasted prawn and floured fried cuttlefish.Not to forget home made fruit cake. Yummmy:), at the end we had no place to have the cake in our stomach then.I gave mama a pair of greenish Jubah Seluar. Her favorite theme. At the afternoon, mama treat her AJK at pizza hut:)
On Saturday, while at my parent in law home, I bake two delicacies that are Cappucino Marble Cheese cake & Coffee Triffle Cheese for the two birthday girls, who are my sister in law Rohmah whose birthday on 18/5 and Husna`s on 28/5. They were delighted since it was like a kind of 1st time for them. I was amazed. My husband said, it was not their family traidition to celebrate birthday. They also not use to greet birthday wish to one another. It was very different with my family. We had our birthday party every year without fail until we grown up. And now we practise it in our family. We even celebrate our uncle & auntie`s birthday, by sending cards and the least is a wish. My mom like to make cookies and bake cakes since her teenage years. So, it is not a problem for us to get a birthday cake anytime. I hope I could fully learn all mama expertise in baking...
Well, it is marriage season at the corner. We got about 10 invitations already. I`m planning to go to my friend, Radziah who is a Speech therapist,her wedding is at Tapah on June, 2nd.

Kembang kempis hidung kami apabila mama dianugerahkan tokoh Ibu 2007 sempena hari Ibu oleh Womens Institution (W.I) Daerah Manjung.Mama pun tak la sangka. Mama dah jadi setiausaha NGO tersebut sejak 30 tahun lepas.Wah...
So, semalam kami pun buat la majlis suka2 utk mama. Ala-ala sesi fotografi gitu sambil makan kek. Mamaku memang tabah orangnya. Kalau aku ditempatnya, memang tak mampu menempuh hidup ini. Di samping melayan keletah suami dan anak-anak yang nakal (terutama aku..yang diperakui kuat menangis semasa kecil...), mama terus giat aktif di dalam NGO dan badan politik. Semuanya 9 NGO. Sebut aje, NGO apa, semua mama join. Bukan sekadar ahli biasa lak tu. Walaupun gitu, mama juga beberapa kali dapat anugerah Guru Cemerlang dan dilantik sebagai Guru Pakar Bahasa Melayu.
So, walaupun anak-anak mama yang 4 kerat ini tidaklah sepandai mana, tapi kami masing-masing berkat daripada asuhan dan didikan mama, kami berjaya di dalam karier masing2.Jika tiada mama membesarkan kami, entah apa lah jadinya kami ni....
Kami sayang mama:)Ya Allah, Engkau Janjikanlah Syurga bagi nya.Amiin.
It was Teachers`s Day yesterday. Happy Teachers Day to Mama and all the teachers! You`ve brighten our days!
Abir`s school also conducted a celebration for the teachers yesterday. I asked Abir to made a simple card to his teacher himself. And, I baked a rich-choc cake to the teacher. The children had to queue 3 times to get another slice of the cakes.:)Where as Abir, whom never likes cake, managed to eat 1 slice.
Mrs Jeba, Abir teacher said...it was always lovely having the kids around enjoying their school hours yesterday, as the teachers are all relax and smiling.It is only once a year..!
I met Junaidah who was my high-school best friend on Friday..
She remain the same Junaidah I knew, only that she already gain weight now.We went to a boarding school-SERATAS back in year 1994, where the school is situated at downhill of Bukit Larut, Taiping. I love the weather there, it is really chill!-well, you know ..the city with the most rain in Malaysia. So, being the thinnest girl in the class (I guess her height was about 1.65m and her weight is about 42 kg), Junaidah was always feeling cold where as the rest of us were feeling great and in fact we switch on the fan. She even shivering for couldn`t stand with the coolness. Both of us sat at the last row in the class side by side, and the fan is just above us. So imagine how chill it was. So, everyday she will complaining how she wanted to have extra fat, from me. Yet, she was awesome, she beat us all and be the best student in SPM. (Sorry Eda, It was amazing memories, we had)
Aufa…my dear,
I had to wean her as I have to stay in UKM for next month –for 1 month. I don`t expect she will take it so easy with the weaning process. I started last night, with a plaster and strawberry colouring. I paste the plaster and dab some color on it, and at the moment she wanted to “cak”, upon seing it she just screamed and said “No” to it. So, that’s it! Full stop. Now after 20 hours I already miss to nurse her, but she seems just fine. She`s okay, and not me- I started to have engorgement and a little temperature. So, I had to pump to ease the pain.
Well, anyway..I`ve done my job-I`ve successfully nurse her for 25 months and 1 week. Alhamdulillah.
Happy Mother`s Day! My husband treat the ladies in the home (my mother and me) a Mothers Day feast at Secret Recipe Restaurant last night. It was delicious especially the cakes! We had BBQ rice, Thai rice and I had Arena Tomyam. And for the dessert we picked Caramel Cheese, Mud Choc cake, Apple cheese, Oreo Cheese and Choc Fudge cake.
I went to baking class today at Dinash Bakery Academy. Chef Rahim, a pastry chef with 20 years experience from Grand Season taught us 4 types of cakes that are banana, chocolate, fruit and butter cake. He even gave us 1 cup cake recipe. I enjoyed the class, even though all of the cakes, is simple cake that I`m familiar with. I join the class since it has the decorating technique. He gave us a lot of tips.

Wednesday, May 1st was like a trip day for all of us to TNB Power Plant at Teluk Rubiah, as it was TNB open day since the plant was officially named to Sultan Azlan Shah Power Plant. To my kids and me, it was a plain trip since all the booths, were about electricity,mechanical and instrumentation. But, not to Abang. He spent at least half an hour at every booth. Finally realizing how bored we were, he suggested that I shall took the kids to the F&B stores, while waiting he finished his adventures.
The next day, we set off to KL, as Abang had FAT at Tanjung Offshore in Ampang, and I had lecture & discussion at the faculty on Thursday and Friday. We checked in at my brother`s home. Aside from the routine,I took the chances to go to the Book Fair at PWTC. I must say that I am allergy to books. Thanks Allah, I don’t own any credit-card anymore. I will surely over-spend if I have one, as before :P .So, Abang only gave me RM200, and after 3 hours.. I went out from the fair with only RM13 in my pocket!!

Suprisingly, I met 2 of my ex-school SMKA friends (Nur Fakhzan & Rosma)who are from Kolej Nilai and UITM Jengka. This is a small world, isn`t it? After 14 years, we were re-acquaintance in a different status. There are both a lecturer.
Apart from that, our Ihsan family also held a small re-union to discuss on several issue that is Yayasan Hj. Ihsan and the goats farm.Things run well.
Verily, All praise to the mighty Allah.
